These Terms of Use apply to your use of Canadian Credit Card Finder at canadiancreditcardfinder.com (the "site"), run by Andrew ("we", "us", "our") in Canada. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

Canadian Credit Card Finder is a free, informational tool that helps people in Canada research and compare credit cards. We are not a bank, credit card issuer, lender, or broker. We don't take applications, make credit decisions, or have any say in whether you're approved.

Not financial advice

Everything on the site, including card details, rankings, "best of" lists, reviews, guides, and finder results, is general information only. It is not financial, legal, tax, or credit advice and doesn't take your personal situation into account. Think about your own needs, and consider talking to a qualified professional, before applying for any credit product.

Card information may change

We work to keep card information accurate and current, but issuers change fees, interest rates, rewards, welcome offers, and eligibility rules often, sometimes without notice. Information on the site may be out of date, incomplete, or contain errors. Always confirm the current terms directly with the card issuer before you apply. The issuer's terms and cardholder agreement are what actually apply to you.

Affiliate links and advertising

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which help keep it free. Links to card issuers currently go directly to the issuer's site and are not affiliate links. We may add affiliate links in the future; if we do, we may earn a commission when you apply for or are approved for a product through one, at no extra cost to you, and we will disclose it on our Advertising Disclosure page. Third-party websites

The site links to issuer and other third-party websites that we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, offers, products, or privacy practices. Your dealings with any issuer, including card applications and cardholder agreements, are solely between you and that issuer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful.
• Try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
• Scrape or copy large portions of the site's content or data for republication or commercial use without our permission.
• Interfere with the ads on the site, for example by generating fake clicks or impressions.

Intellectual property

The site's original content, design, and code are owned by us or used with permission. You're welcome to read, share links to, and quote short excerpts from the site with credit. Card names, issuer names, logos, and card images are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only; their use doesn't imply endorsement.

Google API Services

Separately from this website, Andrew operates an internal YouTube tool that uses YouTube API Services to manage the operator's own YouTube channel. By using YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies. The tool is used only by the site operator, and no visitor data is accessed through it.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no promises or warranties that the site or its information will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its information, including decisions about applying for, using, or cancelling a credit card. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
